WHITE WINE - SANCERRE - LOIRE VALLEY

Appellation: Sancerre
Origin: Loire Valley
Domain: Domaine Raimbault - Roger et Didier Raimbault winegrower and winemaker in Verdigny
Grape: 100% Sauvignon

Roger et Didier Raimbault''s domaine is situated in the Verdigny's district, right in the center of the Sancerre wine producing area. The family has been growing vines for ten generations. Their 17.5 ha of vineyards are situated on the sharp slopes of Verdigny and Sury en Vaux.
These 200 to 400 meter high hills rise in a slope of up to 40%, and offer various sun exposure and terroirs giving authenticity and complexity to Sancerre wines

When nature offers a treasure, we need to share it and respect it. It would have been shame not to be a winemaker when you are born in the Sancerre region, so exceptional for Sauvignon grape.

Fresh and lively with citrus fruit aromas, it may be served as an aperitif and goes well with "crudités", fish and cheese.

Award: Gold Medal at the 'Concours des Vins de Loire in Angers' (Loire Valley wines fair)
