Harvested in late autumn, mature grapes packed with sweetness and pleasure produce an elegant wine, with fine typicity. Great fullness on the palate, with delicious tropical flavours, sustained by freshness. Balanced sweetness leads to fresh grapes on the finish - an instant delight.
Tasting commentary by cellarman Francis Miquel:
"Superb light gold colour. Very expressive aroma, typical, with citrusy overtones evolving when aerated, with a very sensual exotic character. A full taste, possessing great freshness giving a dynamic ensemble. Instant happiness, a really soft balance to reveal a fresh grape finish. A versatile wine capable of charming a fresh foie gras and offering true Gascon resistence to a lobster from Brittany.''
Serving suggestion:
To be enjoyed as an aperitif, with foie gras, white meat and blue cheese, and makes a delicious companion with desserts.
Serve chilled.
Should be stored upright, in a cool dark place.
